Make Waves for Glioblastoma

For people we love. For more time.

We made some merch in memory of Bryan Landaas and Emily Warren, two people we wish were still here. Every purchase helps us raise money for glioblastoma research, with the hope that other families get more time together.

Our why

Why we make waves

My husband, Bryan, died from glioblastoma in June 2022, just three weeks after turning 42. Our kids were only 4, 3, and 13 months old.

October 25 is our wedding anniversary, and after he died, I wanted to have something to look forward to on that day. So I started Make Waves. A reason to get together with people we love, remember Bryan, and raise money for glioblastoma research.

This year, we’re also remembering Emily Warren, who died from glioblastoma in July 2026. She was married to her Husband, Ward on Oct 20, 2007 and has two beautiful kids Henry, 7, and Norah, 10.

It sucks to be part of a club none of us wanted to join. And I’m grateful we have each other. We know how much of a gift life is, even when it’s really hard. We’ll keep showing up for our families, finding things to look forward to, and doing our best to make Bryan and Emily proud.

Thank you for being part of this. Whether you buy some merch, donate, or just come hang out with us, I’m so glad you’re here.

~Mandy
